Volunteer with us

If you’re a graduate student or professional interested in volunteering with us, please email Adam Walker (Walker@g.harvard.edu) and Catherine Enwright (Enwrighc@bc.edu)

Lead a Reading Group

Reading groups usually last from 1 to 2 months. Meetings involve pre-selected passages for close reading and discussion. These groups start from a place of curiosity and simplicity when approaching texts.

Manage social media

Help manage a social media account on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Threads; or help us manage our monthly newsletter and Vimeo account!

Give a Lecture

Give a public-facing lecture on a work or movement of literature that interests you! If you are interested in participating as a lecturer in our online series, please submit a  200-300 word abstract and a working title of your lecture to Adam Walker (Walker@g.harvard.edu) and Catherine Enwright (Enwrighc@bc.edu).

Design a course

Perhaps you want to design your own asynchronous course about your field of interest; or maybe you’d like to film a four-part lecture series on the greatest hits of your favorite poet or movement.

Publish your writings and reviews

Our blog will launch in August, and we’re looking for others to write public-facing reflections, essays, and reviews. Share your thoughts on a novel, offer a close-reading of a poem, introduce readers to lesser-known works, or review a book. Find our list of books here and our guidelines here. Tell us which book you’d like to review and we’ll send you a copy!

Podcasting

A few of us here have been wanting to start educational and conversational podcasts for the project. If you have an idea for a show or are looking to find a partner, be in touch!
